Day 6

Town of Cordes sur Ciel

Lets start at the bottom and work up to the top.

Nearly there.....

A few shopping stops along the way

and cobbled gardens.

A quite rest with a view before reaching the top.

Through the arch and finally.....

the breathtaking views.

Meander back down....

ready for lunch at Lou Canton.

Bon appetite!


And for the afternoon......

a visit to Charlotte's beautiful house in the country for dinner.

Of course a few drinks to start.

A sneak around the secret garden....

where a few friends are hiding.

Then settle down for a perfectly cooked meal.

Day 5

Off we go......

to the town of Cahors for the brocante and farmers markets.

A walk around the town.......

secret doorways.....

and hidden alleyways.

Always making friends along the way!

A stop for lunch......

then on to the Pont Valentre,

the UNESCO World Heritage site as part of the Santiago Pilgrim Ways.

With just enough time to squeeze in a little bit more shopping at Caussade hat factory.

Back to the Chateau for some champagne of course......

and a show and tell of everyones treasures.

Our day wouldn't be complete without a beautiful 3 course meal cooked by chef Charlotte.

Day 4

A day at the Chateau.

Busy bees in the workroom with a morning of craft.

Fabienne visits with her collection of vintage linens.

Someone else also enjoys the visit from Fabienne!

Laurent Zimmermann joins the Chateau for Champagne, cheese and bread tasting.

And finally a sunset dinner to end the day......

Ready for day 3 - Caussade Market.

Hunting for treasure at the local brocante.

Guided tour of Caussade food market with Chateau Dumas chef Charlotte.

All that shopping, we need coffee........

and lunch!

Back to the Chateau for some cooking demonstrations.

And to finish the day perfectly.......

Wine tasting and dinner at Haute - Serre.

Day One of Blake & Taylor French Adventure 2015 begins.....

Everyone has arrived and the sun is shining.

Blake & Taylor is off to France

The Blake & Taylor French Adventure is fast approaching and we have only one place left.  If you would like to be the lucky last to join us please phone the store to secure your place.
We shall spend a week in the South of France in a 13th Century Chateau.  Go to the website and have a look at the glorious surroundings in which we will be staying for 7 divine days and nights.

The Chateau at Dusk

The dates for our trip are 30 May 2015 to 6 June 2015.  Arrive on a Saturday in Toulouse where arranged transport will take you to Chateau Dumas and leave on the following Saturday and be transported back to Toulouse where everyone will continue on their separate journeys.  This will be a week to spoil yourself and indulge in all things French. 

This all inclusive week comprises of:- 

3 meals and wine each day prepared by the Chateau's French Chef, Charlotte.
